SESPP Program Supports

Our volunteers have many opportunities and free resources available to them for support in representing their students.

The student’s case coordinator at the SESP Program can assist you with questions related to the rights and responsibilities of your role, your interactions with DCF and other providers, and changes in the student’s status. Please also update us as to any changes in your contact info. You can reach out to your case coordinator directly, or contact:

The Recruitment, Training and Support Center (RTSC) for Special Education Surrogate Parents at the Federation for Children with Special Needs can assist you in navigating special education laws and regulations as they apply to your student, and provide guidance around IEP development, transition planning, discipline procedures, and more.
